Last Sunday 29th June 2014 I was at the Friends of Valley Gardens 1940s Day in Harrogate.  It was a superb day with over 27,000 people attending! Quite a few people were in original 1940s dress too.  My stall was in the Sun Pavillion and it was certainly sunny outside too for much of the time.  There was live music, dancing, a fly past, vintage cars and even an air raid siren for people (lots of kids!) to try out!  The mayor of Harrogate, Jim Clark also officially opened the event and came round to see all of us stall holders too.  I had a great time and met some lovely people too.
